With recent visits by Senator Tim Kaine, First Lady of Virginia Pamela Northam, Representative Gerry Connolly, Delegate Dan Helmer, and Board of Supervisors Chairman Jeff McKay, Main Street provides valuable insight into the current challenges that the early childhood education sector continues to face as well as its vital role in the future of our communities.

Discussions on the importance of early childhood education, consistent and adequate funding, teacher pathways, recognition and compensation, and the importance of a variety of service models are just some of the topics discussed during these visits.
