A Magnificent 50th Anniversary Celebration

Main Street Child Development Center celebrated five decades of delivering comprehensive early childhood education and support services to more than 5,000 children and their families. This occasion was especially meaningful with Proclamations delivered by Mayor Read of the City of Fairfax and James Walkinshaw from the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors.

Joined by our Board of Directors, Main Street Staff, community service organizations, committed volunteers, and our cherished current and past children and their families, Main Street celebrated its 50th anniversary with myriad of activities, food and camaraderie!
