Main Street Receives Level 5 Virginia Quality Rating

Main Street joined just a few other organizations in the state to achieve a Level 5 rating by the Virginia Quality program. This extraordinary result showcased the commitment and hard work that teachers and administrators have put in to create the highest quality program for our young children.

Main Street takes each level of Virginia Quality seriously including:

• Ensuring all health and safety needs of the children are met and exceeded

• Requiring all teachers to complete at least 40 hours of professional development each year, as well as hold or be pursing higher education in early childhood.

• Using the research based “The Creative Curriculum” as well as other high-quality teaching tools and curriculums including Kindermusik, Main Street continuously uses the best teaching tools available.

• Main Street transforms its classrooms to create the best possible learning spaces, while helping teachers cultivate meaningful interactions and experiences for the children.
